I've started reading 1984 for no reason whatsoever.It's just the dystopic side of me.Books like V For Vendetta, Brave New World and 1984 intrigue me to no extent.I realized that this online comic strip i read years ago (and they've stopped since then) actually pays tribute to Big Brother! (the Singapore version)(Back then i had no idea who Big Brother was. But now i do :D) Oh! Thought this comment deserved a good viewing. So here it is :D. By Aynat: hahah. my two cents. doubt anyone will read this... but anyway. first off. people seem to have cling tight to the idea of relative truth. whats true for me may not be true for you and vice versa. which i think is a load of bs. you cant say that the truth is only in your mind. (otherwise we'd all be living in different bubbles/worlds). it should reside in the world you live in. it should be out there for everyone to see. and if we keep that in mind... i agree with richie. prayer. meditation. faith. whatever tool you're using, the effect you seek isnt found in the external. the only empirical objective conclusion you can form is ...that these tools are used to change your psychological state to make the preferred changes in your environment. the events that follow arent causally determined by the words you whisper under your breath. and i want to extend this conclusion to all religions.... Haha, so the deed is done and sealed! With the "go-ahead" from our Chief Commander, Martin, I had just confirmed on the reservation of the villa in Bintan for our short getaway in Nov moments ago. N i dun care! Each n everyone of them is now held liable for any charges on my card that arises becos of the reservation! Be it fraud, or any last-min pulling out, TOO BAD! They will ALL be liable! Lol. Thxs to the trip, i have decided to embark on a regime of a- Strictly No Buffet / Heavy Dinner Diet for the next 2 weeks. I wana luk fab in my bikini! Wahaha. But ahem* Confession to be made..I just had a hearty dinner at AquaMarine..buffet somemore..=p But since wat's done cant be undone, wats eaten can oni be puke or shit out, i shant dwell on it anymore! Diet shall officially commence wif effect from tmw! Anw, wk has been a killer lately. I m sooooo freaking worn-out. Totally dead beat.
